MIND Down syndrome service directory

A Malaysian directory of organisations and services that include Down syndrome.

Conceptual illustration of families and support connections across Asian communities

What this resource offers

MIND’s Down syndrome page lists Malaysian providers and describes services such as vocational training, job coaching, sheltered employment, independent-living skills, accommodation and self-advocacy. Use it to make a local shortlist, not as a guarantee that a listed service remains open. Contact every provider directly about its current programme, location, eligibility, fees, safety and places. Families moving between Hong Kong and Malaysia can use it to identify an initial local contact before travel.

Helpful questions for your next conversation

  • Which listed providers currently accept adults with Down syndrome in our state?
  • Can you suggest a provider for the person’s employment, day activity or living goal?

This listing summarises published information; eligibility, fees and availability must be confirmed directly with the provider; it is not an ALBE endorsement or partnership.

Every person’s needs and journey are different. Use this information to support a conversation with a qualified professional, not as a substitute for personalized advice.
